Our unique Sustainable Mango Wood Pouf stool 20-inch Diameter Body x 16-inch Diameter Top x 14-inch Diameter Base x 18 inch Height with Eco-Friendly, Natural Food-safe Livos Light Teak Oil Finish is both an element to be used for seating and for use as a table or stand. This oversized piece can serve as a stool, ottoman, or table. Hollow inside, it can easily be moved about. Finished in Livos Light Teak Oil, it™s water resistant and food safe surface is easily maintained with warm soapy water and an occasional light oiling or waxing. These natural oils are translucent, so the wood grain detail is highlighted. Polished to a matte finish, there is no oily feel; and cannot bleed into carpets, as it contains natural lacs. This versatile sturdy eco-friendly functional art piece can also be used as a stand for a lamp or vase and makes a unique plant pedestal. Designed for use stand alone or in groups, they can serve as a serving table or bench when put together. Small surface cracks and dark spots in the wood are natural. Hi... I was wondering if this piece can be stained... I would like to stain it with a ebony. Would I need to sand the oil off and stain it. Thanks
